Hub Favorites Are Now Free

Lexile Find a Book, the most popular tool on the Hub, is now free and unlimited to all registered users. And it doesn’t stop there, we have also increased the monthly search limits for both career databases so students and families can make the most out of these powerful exploration tools.

With a new, cost-free approach, the Hub is expanding free and unlimited access, so more educators (and families) can take full advantage of its resources. We have streamlined our membership levels and no longer offer a paid Premium option, eliminating the hassle of a credit card or purchase order.

More teaching, less fussing

At the heart of this update is the desire to support educators, families, and the millions of students across the globe who receive Lexile and Quantile measures each year. By allowing more unlimited access to tools, like Lexile Find a Book, educators can better personalize instruction efficiently and effectively. 

With these new updates, you can spend more time working with students and less time worrying about paying extra for what you need.

Membership: More Power with Free Registration

While students and first-time visitors can explore the Hub without having an account, registering as a free Basic+ member unlocks a much more robust version of the Hub.

• Unlimited searches across core tools make it easier to plan lessons, differentiate instruction, and respond to student needs in real time. 
• 30 monthly measures in the Quantile and Lexile Career Databases allow more students to engage in real-world college and career exploration.
• A digital bookshelf and personalized math resource lists can be created and shared with families and colleagues 
• Free decodable texts and an at-home learning toolkit to connect classroom instruction with at-home practice just in time for Summer.

State Partner Premium Membership: Additional Tools and Resources for Partner State Educators

As an educator in a MetaMetrics’ partner state, you will continue to receive the same premium access to tools and resources; no need to update or change your account. 

Haven’t registered for State Partner Premium Membership yet? Simply create an account with your state or district email address to receive additional state-sponsored tools and resources, including:

• The Lexile Text Analyzer, which helps estimate the text complexity of instructional materials and identify key vocabulary.
• Additional searches on the Lexile and Quantile Growth Planners, allowing educators to utilize their Lexile and Quantile measures from state assessments to understand student progress year after year.

Recap: What Changed on May 1 and What Stays the Same

• Lexile Find a Book is free and unlimited for all registered users. Find a Decodable Book is also now free and unlimited for all.
• Both career databases now allow 30 monthly searches for all registered members. State partner educators receive unlimited searches. No cost for any members.
• All registered members receive free unlimited searches on both math tools - Math Skills Database and Find a Math Activity.
• After May 1, 2026 individual educators cannot purchase Premium membership, including the Hub Text Analyzer. If you are a corporate entity or author, you may want a subscription to the Lexile Text Analyzer Content Creator. Please Contact Us for more details.
• If you already purchased a Premium account prior to May 1, 2026 you will continue to receive Premium access, including Text Analyzer, until your annual membership expires.
• If you are an educator in a partner state, you will continue to receive complimentary access to all of the same tools and resources, including 30 searches on the Lexile Text Analyzer.
